The highlight of my last week in Accra, Ghana was attending a speech by U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, as part of her three-nation visit to Africa. With the assistance of my host, Awo Amenyah, I received an invitation from the U.S. Embassy to attend her remarks at Independence Square in south-central Accra.

The VP's Speech: The U.S. is committed to boosting its partnerships with African nations by fast-tracking African innovation, particularly in the tech sector. She also emphasized the role that young people will play in the future of the continent and the world.
