Celebratory Video for Amy's 60th Birthday

Update – 21 March 2024

My thanks to everyone who has created and uploaded videos so far. This is shaping up to be a great surprise for Amy on her birthday. If you haven't recorded a video yet, please try and do so by the end of the weekend (24 March 2024).

To be clear, that's not the hardest of deadlines but I do want to make sure that my video editor (the inimitable Graham Raubvogel) has time to work his magic without too much of a time crunch.

Thanks for visiting this page. As I said in the email you received (or social media post), I am putting together a special surprise video for Amy to help celebrate her 60th birthday on April 6, 2024.

If you'd like to be a part of the video, please record a short video message with your well-wishes, stories, and birthday greetings. You'll find all the instructions below. Please feel free to pass this link on to anyone you think might be interested.

Please upload your video on or before Sunday, March 24, 2024 so that my video guru (Graham Raubvogel) has time to stitch them up nicely.

Ready to help make Amy's birthday extra special? Here's how to create your awesome video message:

• Go to the Light: Natural light is your friend! Try filming near a window, in a well-lit room, or even outdoors if the weather permits.
• Keep it Quiet: A peaceful spot will help your message be heard loud and clear.
• Go Landscape: Turn your phone sideways (landscape mode) for the perfect video frame.
• Short and Sweet: Two to three minutes is perfect (but feel free to go longer if you want)! Focus on one story, memory, or birthday wish.
• Be Yourself! Most importantly, have fun! Your love and personality will make Amy's day.

How to Share Your Video With Me (and Amy)

1. Record Your Video Using a Mobile Device or Your Laptop
2. Open the Email I Sent and Click on the Dropbox Request Link link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/zcONmMo2MfPRDzfeq8iJ
3. Choose Your Video File, Fill in Your Name and Email Address, and Click "Upload".
4. That's it! Your video is now ready to be part of Amy's surprise.
