Decade-Old Tweets Land CA Teacher in Hot Water

An incident in Rocklin, CA (about 22 miles northeast of Sacramento) offers a good lesson in the durability of digital information and how easily it can migrate from online to off.

At some point in January, a student saw two tweets by a RUSD staff member which had been printed out and taped to the wall of a school bathroom. The student took a photo of the printout and then showed it to another RUSD employee. That photo was also shared by the child's parent with a local television station, which offered the following coverage:
